The Stockwood Park Academy Marks 'Show Racism The Red Card' Day
At The Stockwood Park Academy, an Ofsted 'Good' rated school in Luton, we were proud to take part in 'Show Racism the Red Card' campaign on Friday, 17th October. This important initiative aims to educate young people about the impact of racism and promote equality, respect, and inclusion in schools and communities.
During form time, our students learned about the campaign’s history and significance. Staff and sixth-form students also showed their support by wearing red, demonstrating their role as leaders and positive role models within our school community.
As a Luton school committed to fairness and inclusivity, we recognise our responsibility to challenge discrimination and create a safe, welcoming environment for all learners. Activities like this reflect our Stockwood Park Academy values of Excellence, Responsibility and Compassion, ensuring that every member of our school feels respected and valued.
At The Stockwood Park Academy, we beleive that anti-racism is everyone's responsiblity and we are proud to uphold these principles as part of our community mission to provide an exceptional learning experience for all our students at our high school.
